Sacred Feminine Energy – Week

Hello there beautiful people of Psyland,

This Saturday we would like to share with you a completely new and different idea we have had for a while now for our Psyland Project. One day, while brainstorming and studying for the radio web, we noticed that most of the music published and promoted on this platform has been produced or played by male artists and DJs. So, for a moment we stopped and thought of all the very talented women DJs, producers, and performers of the Psychedelic Music Scene. After all, too much masculine energy, and we can get a bit more aggression and domination than needed so let’s just say that it was about time to balance the energies and create a portal for the loving Sacred Feminine Energy!

The sacred feminine energy is soft, grounded, nurturing, and intuitive. While the sacred masculine energy is present, logical, and focused with a desire to build and protect. When these two energies work together within us and are balanced, they create a sweet union that allows us to embrace all that makes us human. All that makes us holy!

For this reason, we have concluded that there are going to be weekly playlists that will include only music produced or played and mixed by women producers and DJs! We hope you like this idea and get ready to embrace the magical sounds of our Psychedelic Goddesses!

Mina aka Mina Stojiljkovic was born in Serbia and hails from a small peaceful town called Sremska Mitrovica. From her early years, creation was always in Mina’s soul and mind. From a very young age, Mina became a highly skilled creative artist. Her passions include painting, designing, and singing in many choirs as well as alternative metal bands. Music was forever rolling in her creative mind, and this inspired her to work hard on many projects.

As time passed Mina became really intrigued and interested in electronic music and very quickly decided she wanted to learn how she could make her own sounds. After many years of blood, sweat, and tears with lots of effort – trying to build on her ideas, and mix different genres into one concept – she was ready to present her craft to the world, and her project Mina was born!

Mina is a project focused on progressive house and techno sound with an edge of psychedelic. Her sound refuses to be pigeonholed and is a combination of many musical genres, fused together succinctly into one epic conceptual project.

Nasia TsoLakou aka SiaNa MeLoDy was born in 1988 in Greece. Her passion for electronic music holds since childhood mainly for Progressive and Full On Psychedelic sounds, as well as Techno Trance – Deep-Tech & Afro House, and many others.

Since 2013 she participates actively in the psytrance scene, trying to pass her love for music to the people, by playing in private and public parties and events in Greece!! She is a member of ” Reson8 records (Chile), P.L.P (Greece) and has been working as an Aerobic ance tutor since 2015. In 2015 she became part of “TribalismoRadioTeam”. Since then she used to broadcast her Dj Sets weekly at TribalismoRadio in Greece!!

SunRhea aka Kyveli is a multi talented Artist coming from Thessaloniki Greece, connecting with art and music all her life. In 2007 she started her relationship with psychedelic music by participating at parties, events and festivals, experimenting with creating her own music (which she is in progress).

 When she moved to England in 2012 she almost instantly got involved in U.K.’s psychedelic scene wile she create her own healing dance “Liberation Dance”. She is a DJ and a healer working with healing energy as an instructor with Liberating Dance. She is also giving energy healing massage having first level Tai massage diploma.

Continuing ancient tradition she exists through dancing, singing and playing as a rituall that takes you beyond time & space limits showing you that you are part of the Universal Music.

“I have a calling to use music and all arts for healing and reconnecting with our inner Self.
Humans, before history, were using music and dance to vibrate at higher frequencies, expressing themselves and becoming closer to each other.”

Francesca a.k.a Psykia is an eclectic DJ and Producer from the underground music scene, as dj she has been exploring all the nuances of forest/dark/psytrance but also progressive, techno and chillout. Psykia has been djing around the world for many years now, she has also started making her own sounds lately and released tracks for killer labels such as Lycantrop Rec., Banyan Rec., and Forestdelic Records. She is currently based in London but she never stops traveling all over the world and playing at major parties and festivals alongside the biggest names on the international psy-trance scene. In 2014 she was asked to join Vantara Vichitra Records (India) and that marked a big turning point in her career, in March 2015 she joined Milega Records (Japan) and in 2016 she also joined Banyan Records, one of the best dark/forest labels in Europe. much more on the way, stay tuned!

With peculiar tastes and unusual choices, always taking inspiration from the dark side of psychedelic trance, Rosamaria brings deep contrasts behind the story of her sets.

Sicilian producer and DJ, adopted by Brazil 10 years ago began her musical career at Teraʼs studio, where she had the opportunity to absorb important references and develop her own artistic and musical identity as a DJ and also with her own productions, as one of the brains behind the project Ananga Ranga.

Rosamaria is also part of the collective The Solution that gathers the most active women djing around the world and of Chanakya Records from almost the beginning.

In 2021 she received the invitation to join the legendary label Disco Valley Records that represents an honored place among her favorite producers and DJs.

Mir /DAT Records, Global Sect Music / is a DJane from Serbia, playing old school goa trance. Her style varies from darker, psychedelic to very melodic goa trance, depending on the style and atmosphere of the party.

She is the founder of Ages of Love, an organization from Serbia which organizes goa parties. Ages of love is based on feminine energy which is something new for the Serbian goa scene.

Her sets will give you blast of energy and depth of emotions for old sounds which will never die! 

She started playing in 2015. and by now she played on many festivals and parties around Europe and above, such as: S.U.N. Festival  (Hungary), India Fest (Russia),  Huéznar Festival (Spain), Cycles of Life  (Belgium), Art of Sound  (Belgium), Winter S.U.N (Hungary), GOA EXPERIENCE  (Serbia), Cosmic Waves (Germany), Padma Party (Russia), 5 years of Mystic Sound (Russia), Flurodelica (Russia), Trance Needs Women (Tenerife), and many more. 

Edyta Stankiewicz aka Djane Edy was born in Poland. Since a little girl she loved electronic music. First sounds from Jean Michel Jarre and a big legend of cinema music Hans Zimmer.

In 2015 after a big festival cebration Top 100 DJ’s in Amsterdam she started adventure with trance music. First genre moving from classic trance to progressive. Finally after 2 years she discovered a big love to psytrance and psychedelic music. She promoted and supported many psytrance Artists.

After few months she joined to Psy Trance Events Worldwide (project that promotes psytrance events and festivals around the globe), then to the team of TribalismoRadio – psychedelic psytrance radio from Greece. In Summer at 2017 she founding together with her friend from Cape Town – Dj Gryphon-X psy trance project with pure passion called “Psychedelic Saturdays “, where every Saturday they host many Djs from all the world (fb live stream), after year this project has more than 15k fans.

At the end of 2017 she recorded own debut set played on radio. It was first step to another a big adventure with DJing. Next mixes bring her more listeners and fans. At the end of 2018 she joins the Italian record label – MAGMA Records, where together with Dj Nicholas releasing V.A. album ” Power Of Love “. A few weeks later debut perfomance at psytrance party in club in her hometown in Poland.

Amaryllis is a DJane from Belgrade, Serbia. Behind Amaryllis is Ana Mihailovic, and she is the third part and founder of organization Ages of love. She plays pure powerful goa, old and new. Her mix can vary from slow to fast style of goa, but the thing that doesn’t change is that all the music she plays goes from the heart and it will move your dancing feet undoubtedly! She will bring the special female energy to the party, and make you dance like nobody’s watching!

She played on many parties in Serbia and Croatia, and festivals such as Elysium Island (Serbia).

Grace, a.k.a AHYOKA, is a female DJ and producer of dark progressive trance based in Paris, France.

She is above all, a storyteller and generator of energies throughout her music. AHYOKA is a Native American word meaning “she brought happiness”. The aim of this project is to open your senses and consciousness by experiencing deep, emotional and mental sounds.

It’s all about combining one track with another, and finding that chemical reaction that transforms them in order to create a profound experience for those on the dance floors.

Grace got her first taste for music at a very young age by playing the piano, followed by the guitar and drums.

In 2009, she was introduced to trance music where she instantly fell in love with the psychedelic scene; the music, the energy, the vibes, the people and the culture. With encouragement from friends, she decided to take up mixing and bought her first turntables in 2010.

DJing since 2011, she quickly rose as a prodigious artist, bringing the dance floor along with her. Grace was first known under the name “Pandora” from Mental Drop Records, playing electro breaks on vinyl then switched to progressive trance on CDJs. She formed her dark progressive project, Ahyoka, after signing on as a label DJ for the Danish label, Melting Runes Records, and for whom she compiled the V.A ‘Lupuna’ released in 2015.

She had finally found her mark in the greasy basslines of dark progressive.

She has had the opportunity to play in France, Norway, Portugal, Finland, the Netherlands, Germany, India, the U.K and Morocco, including various underground parties, clubs and festivals such as Álfheimr Festival 2016, Egregora Festival 2016, Forest Soul Gathering 2017 & 2019 (also collaborated as stage manager on the main stage), Fora de Tempo Festival 2018 (where she also worked as logistics manager with the Production Crew), Psychedelic Meadow 2019 & Primitif Festival 2019.

Behind the decks, she manages to express with finesse, powerful Dj sets with rumbling bass lines combined with dark, twisted and hypnotic sounds, with influences from various genres from techno to forest styles.

Bathed in imagination and always eager to learn, Grace decided to reach another level by branching out into music production.

Today, Ahyoka is signed as a Label – Dj/Producer for Kunayala Records, Quadrivium Records and Katayy Records.

Born in Lithuania, at young age moved to Italy where i entered in to psychedelic scene just after my experience in underground tekno scene with illegal raves taz and squat parties, enjoying and studying this world, music and people every moment, till i started to organize parties in 2008.

We organized illegal free parties, tekno and goa then, when energies started to crash and different desires about music divide us, we created with some good friends the Little Dark Family and organized parties all around Italy fully orientated on darkpsy, hitech and experimental vibes, consolidating a darkpsy culture in this country. At these paryies played artists like kindzadza, psykovsky, yaminahua, kasatka, calyptratus, dark whisper, zik, kaya, spiral, select project, kaikkialla, mimic wat, megalopsy, will o wisp, virtuanoise, alpscore, kykeon, spore, radice, yara & malkavian, system crash, native elements, giuseppe and many many more!

After long time listening, dancing, organizing and givin space for a lot of artists to play and express them self, i understood that i want also give my contribute to the dancefloor as a performer, cuz i saw how much i can give when i’m behind the desks, trying to guide people in a deep psychedelic experience.

Maiko dj sets are various and peculiar, from slow to fast bpm, always focused on a danceable and trance tunes. goes from classic darkpsy to new wave experimental music like psycore but also adding some spicy hitech tracks for a full euforia moments.

Based in Barcelona, I’m fully active in the psychedelic scene, performing in countries like Italy, Spain, Sweden, Czech Republic, Austria, Lithuania, India, Srilanka, Turkey, Holland, Germany, Poland, Brazil, Cambodia, in festivals like Masters of puppets, psy fi, Atman, Human Evolution, Blackmoon, Anaca ritual, Shanti gravity and many more to come.

Suseth Martinez from Guatemala started to learn music production in 2014 and have been the first female Djing Hi-tech Psytrance in Guatemala under the name Cosmic Spiral, since 2015, within FEEDBACK PRODUCTION GT Crew.

After 3 years of hard work she realeased her First track with Voodoo Hoodoo Records and finally signed a year later on O.v.n.i Records, where she introduced her brand new Live act concept named Athzira, an intense blend of heavy psytrance grooves and indigenous traditional music from central and south America,especially Mayan, that she called “Ik-Tek” (Ik mean Spicy in k’iche’,the main Mayan language from Guatemala).

Recognized like one of the only artist to represent Guatemala around the world in major parties and festivals, especially in Mexico, Greece, Germany, Italy, France but also Brazil, Holland, Costa Rica and El Salvador, sharing stage with top notch psytrance artists such as Astrix, Ace Ventura, Liquid Soul, Bubble, Crazy Astronaut, Oxidaksi, LunaRave aka Angry LunA, Kindzadza, Marambá,and many more…

Her psychedelic journey has began in 2015 in North Italy but she could really enjoy and embrace this underground movement during her travel in Australia where she stopped at many parties and doofs around Melbourne.

These her first experiences blown totally her mind, getting very and trurly inspired and motivated to be a part of these scene.

Her Mission is not to just to give fun and happiness for whose dance, but even to donate an introspective personal trip to innerself and discover also the darkest part of ourself and get lost. She would love to transmit the same mix of feelings, energy, bliss and malice when she is killing the dancefloors.

From Italy Dayana discovered psytrance in Barcelona in 2007. After one year she bought pioneer and started to play, thanks to all people who listened to her sessions, she was invited to play on her first party, Mamandawa in Sabadell. From there she began Dj, and she started playing in amazing festivals like Atman Festival, Master of Puppets, Universe Parallelo, parties in Goa, and of course parties and festivals in Spain.

She combines her personal project with Dark Chocolate, a hitech project with Psynonima, and also she is part of The Solution : a collective of female DJs and producers, founded in 2015 in Goa and organizes parties all over the world.

And part from Atman Tribe since 2016, playing in all the editions in srilanka.

Her sessions are great stories, with evolutions of the bpm, to take the dancefloor to incredible places.

OtherSide she also mix chill and techno, and she is investigating the digital world to produce her own music. To evolve in the world of sound and to understand the notes, the chords and the mixes, she made 2 years of music school in Barcelona.
