Along with the Psymbosium Week, we have prepared an interview with the founders of the Psymbosium Team to let them introduce themselves, and share with all psy community their big thanks for its support.

-Hello Sotiris & Jim. We are glad to have an interview with you. Let’s introduce yourselves to our listeners.

-Hello to everyone, i’m Jim i was born and raised in Athens – Nea Smyrni and I recently moved to Olympus!
My name is Sotiris, I was born and raised in Larissa, relatively recently I returned from abroad to my hometown Karya where I settled with my family!
Both we love mountains and psychedelic art!

-Tell us about the idea that created Psymbosium, and the beginning of the project.

-All they start from a dream…
The idea or a vision if we can call it that way…
We shared the same perceptions, the same beliefs as person’s about what is possible to achieve here in mt Olympus from our Crew and so our acquaintance a few years ago was the trigger, the beginning of everything!
We soon realized that we wanted extroversion, to be something more collective, a bigger event that gives the opportunity to more people to get involved but also to come and live something unique with us!

-What was the inspiration behind the name “Psymbosium?

-We knew that we needed a name that refers to the antiquity of the human species but also to Olympus which is an important part of it!
So what better than what our ancestors did, something that suggests meeting, dance, and joy, a banquet!
One of us thought of the word symposium which literally in ‘greeklish’ means banquet and the other thought of adding the letter P in front of the word, so surprisingly we had the birth of Psymbosium!
Complementarity is real magic a type o sync!

-Would you like to share with our listeners some of your experiences from the previous gatherings?

-Humanity live in a challenging times ,we are in a serious transition and we all have difficult , sometimes tremendous obstacles to overcome in our everyday lives.
Considering this it is worth mentioning that all the people who honored us both times overflowed with love, kindness and pleasant mood!
Everyone was great and with this attitude they helped to turn the Psymbosium into something magical, a Soul Tribe!

-Tell us a few words about the 3rd edition of the event we are all looking forward to.

-In the third edition of the Psymbosium, we all have to expect something even more unique!
We created these expectations and it is something we enjoy in our course …
There will be even more amazing artists this year, consequently the hours of the event where we clearly complete four days!
The decoration and the theme will be even more innovative in both stages with experienced artists who will join us from abroad so that we can make our vision of this year a reality!
Our area which is private has also grown significantly, so we will have the opportunity to accommodate even more visitors inside for Glamping (glamour VIP camping ) and possibly in the future a third stage!
The 3rd Psymbosium is loading!

-Do you believe it is significant for an event to respect and support the local community of the event location?

-Yes, of course is one of the most important! Without the support and help of the local community you can not move forward with optimism.
It is vital for both sides to have an excellent cooperation so that this will yield the maximum benefits for both in the future!
We thank them from the bottom of our hearts who are by our side and we continue strongly!

-Other than organizing psychedelic events, you have started releasing your own music as a label right? Tell us a few words about that.

-Ah we love to involve with music and psychedelic arts in general!
Whatever makes us come in to be even more active with our Psy community it definitely excites us!
We wanted to serve,so all together, with some artists we sat and worked on the idea that it would be very nice to offer to our people a gift of gratitude and at the same time to celebrate the successful creation of the Psymbosium on Olympus!
Since then, some releases have followed as a natural continuation of our progress in this region!

-Is there anything else you would like to share with Psyland?

-Yes, we would like to say a big thank you from all our Crew to your station for the hospitality but also to the people for the support they show us, we look forward to having you all with us in this summer and we give you for the third time our promise for an even more result magical!
